Who are the services for?
For companies, practices, law firms, agencies and self-employed professionals in Vienna and the surrounding area as well as for remote assignments from all of Austria. I also support households with home office requirements in the Vienna area.
Where do you come on site?
All of Vienna and the surrounding area, such as Klosterneuburg, Korneuburg, Schwechat, Mödling, Perchtoldsdorf and Purkersdorf. Within Vienna a travel flat rate of €35 applies, outside I charge €0.60 per kilometre from the city limits.
Why does KernelHost GmbH issue the invoice?
The IT services are an offer of KernelHost GmbH, whose founder and managing director I am. You benefit from the client portal, ticket system and all payment methods, I can focus on the technology.
Is VAT charged?
Yes, all prices are net plus 20 % Austrian VAT. Companies receive a proper invoice with VAT number.
How does remote access work?
Preferably via VPN or SSH with my key and IP allowlisting. Access is documented, removed after completion on request, and I work exclusively from encrypted devices.
How fast are you there in an emergency?
Usually reachable via WhatsApp or phone within an hour, on site in Vienna the same or next business day depending on workload. Guaranteed with a standby agreement.
Are there maintenance contracts?
Deliberately no monthly tariffs: maintenance and support are billed based on effort or with hour bundles (10 or 20 hours, valid for 12 months). For regular needs we agree fixed maintenance appointments, without a base fee and without a minimum term.
Do you also procure hardware?
Yes, on request I procure access points, NAS, switches and server components at market prices. You can also buy hardware yourself, I advise on the selection.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements?
Yes, on request before the first conversation. That is also why you will not find any client names on this website.
